As vice president of national events for USA Cycling, Micah Rice faces challenges ranging from snow and extreme heat to rush hour traffic (for road courses). Rice helps plan cyclo-cross, mountain bike and road course events. Utilizing the local police and city officials to ensure safety for participants and attendees is one of the many things Rice has to do to ensure a great event.
