Up for Bid: 2022 Gay Games XI

The Federation of Gay Games is currently seeking notes of interest from cities that would like to bid on the 2022 Gay Games XI. The quadrennial event, featuring 35 sports, is expected to attract about 10,000 LGBT athletes.

Here are the details:

Deadline for emailing desire to bid: April 15, 2016

Time of year: August 2022

Venue requirements: 35 sports with a variety of indoor and outdoor venues needed

Estimated number of participants:  10,000

Hotel requirements: Many hotels needed to host athletes

Room nights:  35,000

Rate: $50-$300

Rights fee: License Fee to Federation of Gay Games
