Up for Bid: 2017 PDGA Professional World Championships

The Professional Disc Golf Association is currently seeking proposals to host its 2017 Professional World Championships. The six-day event is held between early July and August and includes male and female divisions. It is expected to draw 288 players.

Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: January 19, 2016

Time of Year: Early July-early August

Venue Requirements: 18-hole championship-caliber course and satellite course; 40,000 square feet of green space for spectator and vendor village; 300-500 on-site parking spots.

Number of Participants: 288

Hotel Requirements: Centrally located between courses

Room Block: 400

Rate: $99

Rights Fee: $N/A
