Connect Sports Introduces SCORE Leadership Summit

By Connect Sports Staff, July 24, 2017

Connect Sports proudly announces the addition of the SCORE Leadership Summit, taking place Dec. 4-5 in Palm Springs, California. The meeting will be the industry-leading event for company owners, presidents and C-suite executives dedicated to organizing sporting events. It will be held concurrently with Connect’s Women in Sports Tourism Forum.

Connect Vice President of Meetings & Events Patrick Higgins says the summit builds upon Connect Sports’ foundation of serving the unique needs of the sports tourism community.

“We’re very excited to launch SCORE,” says Higgins. “Through education, best practice sharing and networking, we’ll deliver solutions that allow CEOs and event owners to work on their business, not in their business.”

Each attendee at SCORE Summit will be a business owner or senior director of a for-profit sports event management company. Instead of preset appointments, the summit will offer unique opportunities for industry leaders to share ideas and experiences in a non-competitive environment.

Interactive sessions will concentrate on management-level challenges as well as trends in sales and marketing. Attendees will hear presentations from successful sporting event organizers providing valuable best practices learned on the frontlines.

Space is limited. To participate, contact Higgins at, or click here.

The Society of Company Owners of Recreational/Sports Events is a membership-based organization for companies that specialize in owning, producing and providing full-service management for sporting events. Members include companies, corporations and other for-profit entities in the event management space.
