Up for Bid: 2017 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships

The Professional Disc Golf Association is currently seeking proposals to host its 2017 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships. The week long international event is held between early July and early August and is limited to qualified professional disc golfers who compete for world championship titles in multiple age and gender based divisions. It is expected to draw between 250 and 500 competitors.

Here are the details:

Deadline to bid: January 29, 2016

Time of year: Early July-early August

Venue requirements: 4-5 18-hole championship caliber courses located within 30 miles of event epicenter. Additional meeting space as required

Number of participants: 250-500

Hotel requirements: Centrally located between courses, large space for banquets and receptions, additional space as required by event specifics

Room block: More than 400

Suggested Rate: $100/night
