Up for Bid: Divas Half Marathon & 5K

Continental Event & Sports Management Group, LLC is looking for a new venue to add to its Divas Half Marathon & 5K series. The event encompasses three days, including a two-day health and fitness boutique. Between 3,700 and 5,500 participants commonly register for the events already held in 10 cities across the United States.

Here are the Details:

Deadline to Bid: April 1

Time of Year: Open dates in March, October, November and early-December

Estimated Number of Participants and Fans:  3,700-5,500 participants; approximately 12,000 total visitors

Venue Requirements: Must have large national/international airport in close proximity, 13.1 miles of road that can be used for the half marathon and a start/finish location with parking for more than 2,000 cars.

Hotel Requirements: Centrally located near race.

Room Block: More than 1,000

Rate: $100-$150

Economic Impact: $2.4 million-$5.8 million

Rights Fee: $60,000 minimum
