Up for Bid: USA Fencing’s 2018 March North American Cup

USA Fencing is currently seeking proposals to host its 2018 March North American Cup. The four-day competition (Friday-Monday) features 1,900 athletes competing Division 1, Division 2, cadet and team events.

Here are the details:

Deadline to bid: August 1, 2016

Time of year: March 7-12, 2018

Venue requirements: 180,000-200,000 continuous square feet; risers with seating for at least 250 spectators; four to 10 meeting rooms

Estimated number of participants:  1,900 attendees

Hotel requirements: Walking distance to venue.

Room nights: Attendee: 1,900; Staff: 435

Rate: $99-$129

Rights fee: None
