Connect Sports is excited to present to you the latest events in the world of Team USA. Here is what to look for August 28-September 3.

USA Baseball

Event: 18U National Team Trials and Training

Sixteen regional teams from across the country will compete in their respective age groups at the NTIS event at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, in the fall of 2017. At the conclusion of the event, 18 participating players will be named to the 2018 USA Baseball 17U National Team Development Program.

When: Aug. 19-29

Where: Siebert Field; University of Minnesota

Participants: 40 (August 19-24), 20 (August 26-29)

Spectators: N/A

USA Team Handball

Event: XI Annual SoCal Beach Handball Championships

In its 11th year,  this tournament is the largest and longest running beach handball tournament in the country, with teams from across the country and around the world attending.

When: Sept. 2-3

Where: Huntington Beach, California

Participants: 150

Spectators: 400
