Connect Sports is excited to present to you the latest events in the world of Team USA. Here is what to look for October 16-22.

USA Cycling

Event: 2017 Collegiate Mountain Bike National Championships

Collegiate mountain bikers head to scenic Montana to compete for the right to a stars and stripes jersey. This event features action-packed races including cross-country, short track, dual slalom, downhill, and enduro.

When: October 20-22

Where: Missoula, Montana

Participants: 750

Spectators: 1,000+

USA Synchro

Event: 2017 U.S. Masters Championships

Proof that the sport of synchronized swimming does not have any age limitations is a testament to our sport. Specifically, we have athletes that compete in Masters between the ages of 20-80 years old! The Masters Championships promotes synchronized swimming as a wonderful sport for women of all ages.

When: October 19-22

Where: National Training Center; Clermont, Florida

Participants: 350

Spectators: 500 on-site; 3,585 total views online

USA Water Ski

Event: 39th Collegiate Water Ski National Championships

The Collegiate Water Ski National Championships includes 12 teams in Division 1 and 12 teams in Division 2. National team champions are declared in both divisions. Individual medals for slalom, tricks and jumping are awarded based on athletes’ placements within their division. Overall titles are awarded in each division to athletes competing in all three events. Athletes finishing in the top-five in each event of slalom, tricks, jumping and overall in Division 1 earn All-American honors.

When: October 19-21

Where: Tri-Lakes; Zachary, Louisiana

Participants: 200-300

Spectators: 1,000
