Beth Porreca is Senior Director, Strategic Operations for USA Football in Indianapolis. As a 2020 Connect Sports Game Changer, she discusses her passion for sports tourism.

What I do: I support the development of USA Football through strategic initiatives. I facilitate the creation and achievement of operational goals across the organization while keeping the mission at the forefront of the business.

How I got here:  Right place, right time and the right network. I landed at USA Football by working hard, staying active in the industry and always meeting or exceeding organizational goals set for the departments and organizations I was a part of.

Greatest career accomplishment: I’m most proud of the success of the people I have had the honor of leading and mentoring throughout my time in the industry. Watching mentees grow, develop and lead within their own organizations is what makes me strive to keep setting new goals for myself.

I am proud of organizing: At US Lacrosse, I put together the biggest lacrosse event in the history of the sport: The 2014 FIL Men’s World Championships in Denver. I’ve been building the USA Football National Conference over the past several years to the annual tentpole event for our organization.

What’s next? USA Football is excited to continue leading the football community by providing education, resources and events that raise the standard for the sport and create a better experience for everyone involved in the game.
