“We are delighted to host the 19th annual Spring Fling women’s lacrosse event this year in Manatee County at the G.T. Bray Park in Bradenton. Spring Fling has serviced more than 15,000 prep and collegiate women’s lacrosse players nationwide in its history, and has moved to the west coast of Florida in an effort to offer teams a more comprehensive choice of airports, housing and recreational options. In particular, the spectacular beaches of Manatee County play a large role in offering the players a pleasant respite from the intense training and playing of full-scale NCAA games. Spring Fling staff and its parent company, North American Sports Group, wish to express appreciation to Manatee County Parks and Recreation as well as the Bradenton Area Sports Commission for their outstanding support of the event. The area is perfectly suited to events such as Spring Fling.”
