The sheer size and central location of Greater Richmond Convention Center make it one of the most desirable indoor sport destinations in the mid-Atlantic region. The convention center is situated in the heart of Virginia’s capital city, just minutes from Richmond International Airport. The center is not only the largest convention center in Virginia, but it is the northern-most non-union facility on the East Coast. The 700,000-sq.-ft. facility spans 5.5 city blocks and includes 178,000 square feet of contiguous space and a 30,000-square-foot ballroom. The center features 1,540 parking spaces, lecture halls, more than 30 breakout rooms and 2,100 hotel rooms within 1 mile. The center has recently hosted the USA Field Hockey National Indoor Championships, Cheer & Dance Extreme Mid-Atlantic Open Championships, USA Taekwondo National Championships and National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs Championships.

River City Sportsplex is a 115-acre athletic complex located in the Richmond region. This state-of-the-art facility features 12 synthetic athletic fields, nine of which are currently lighted. All 12 fields will have lights by Summer 2018. The complex is one of the nation’s largest collection of synthetics. Conveniently located near the I-95 corridor, Richmond International Airport and major population centers of the Mid-Atlantic/East Coast. The facility features free wifi, parking for more than 1,200, vendor village equipped with electricity, permanent concessions, and restrooms. River City Sportsplex has played host to IWLCA Champions & Capital Cup Lacrosse Tournaments, US Lacrosse Nationals, Brine National Lacrosse Classic, College Connection Field Hockey, National Field Hockey Coaches Association, Club Champions League Soccer Showcase, American Flag Football League U.S. Open of Football and FC Barcelona, just to name a few.
