Savannah is ready to treat you to an authentic and unique experience. Founded in 1773, Savannah is a beautiful, historic city with elegance, style and grace. The Historic District is one of the largest National Historic Landmark Districts in the nation and is home to 22 of our original 24 scenic squares. Founded in 1993, the Savannah Sports Council is committed to developing sports-related events with local, regional, national, and international organizations. We support a wide range of events that offer diverse opportunities to athletes of all ages and sports. Savannah’s warm climate encourages outdoor activities year-round whether inside the city of Savannah or at the beaches of nearby Tybee Island.
