With more than 330 days of sunshine a year, Tucson is an absolute natural for hosting sports. The town is a cradle of fandom, given the love for athletic teams fielded by our own University of Arizona. Tucson is also home to the American Hockey League Tucson Roadrunners, who play to spirited home-ice crowds at the Tucson Arena. The city can host a truly wide variety of sporting endeavors—from preseason Major League Soccer and Mexican Pacific League baseball at Kino Sports Complex, to Olympic-qualifying events at Oro Valley Aquatic Center. Tucson Convention Center/Arena

Tucson Convention Center is a multi-purpose complex on a 27-acre campus in the heart of downtown Tucson. The facility hosts a wide range of events including banquets, public shows, concerts, conventions, family shows and other entertainment, meetings, sporting events, trade shows, and performing arts. The Tucson Convention Center facility has 205,000 square feet of space, which include flat exhibit space, carpeted meeting and banquet space and three performance venues.

The recently renovated Tucson Arena has fixed seating for 6,792 guests and 29,520 square feet of usable floor space. There are close to 1,000 parking spaces on the Tucson Convention Center campus and another 1,200 spots within walking distance.

Kino Sports Complex

Kino Sports Complex originally was built as aMajor League Baseball spring training facility.Kino is home to the MLS Preseason Training for eight to 10 teams every spring. The Korean and Mexican baseball clubs also train at Kino.
