North Recreational Complex

North Recreation Complex is a beautiful multi-use facility, located 10 minutes from the heart of ECU’s Campus and the thriving Uptown District. The facility has eight multi-use natural grass fields, which can be configured to accommodate soccer, flag football, lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee and rugby. On the property, there are two structures:the Boat House and the Field House. The Boat House overlooks a6-acre pond that can be used for fishing or boating, as well as a beach area. The Field House is located next to the eight fields and has a covered picnic area, as well as restrooms. In addition to this, NRC also has six walking/running trails, one 5K running trail, an 18-hole disc golf course and a high ropes course that finishes with two 300-ft ziplines.

Stallings Stadium at Elm Street Park

Elm Street Park is the location of Stallings Stadium, home of the 2017 Southeast Little League World Series Champions, the North State All-Stars. First used in 1951, and renovated as recently as 2012, Stallings Stadium has played host to several state and regional tournaments, including the Tournament of State Champions for both the 8-10 and 9-11 year old divisions. The stadium includes more than 230 stadium-style chair-back seats, an additional 400 spectators in right field bleachers, standing-room and lawn-chair seating for over 1,000 spectators, two below-ground dugouts, two permanent electronic scoreboards in the outfield, a full-service press box and permanent lighting.
