Up for Bid: USA Swimming 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series

USA Swimming is seeking bids to hosts TYR Pro Swim Series events in 2019. The 3.5-day meets will feature 400-600 athletes, including USA Swimming National Team, Junior National Team and top 50 world-ranked swimmers. All events will be televised on the NBC Sports Network and live-streamed at usaswimming.org. Here are the details.

Deadline to Bid: Aug. 10


January 16-19, 2019
March 6-9, 2019
April 10-13, 2019
May 15-18, 2019
June 12-15, 2019
November 6-9, 2019

Venue Requirements: 8-lane 50-meter competition pool, plus an 8-lane warm-up pool; Seating for minimum of 8000, plus seating for 800 on deck.

Number of Attendees: 400-600; 4,000+ spectators

Hotel Requirements: Approximately 20 rooms (100 room nights) for National Team Athletes and staff at a Marriott property

Room Nights: 1,000+ per event each year (4,000+ for the entire series)

Rights Fee: $10,000 minimum per year.
