Up for Bid: 2020-2021 NAIA Men’s Volleyball Championship

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics is currently seeking proposals to host its Men’s Volleyball National Championships in 2020 and 2021. The five-day event (Tuesday through Saturday) draws about 160 players and more than 1,500 fans.

Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: Nov. 1, 2018

Time of year: April

Venue requirements:  A minimum of one court with seating for at least 500 fans.

Estimated number of participants and fans: 8 teams (160 athletes); 1,500 fans

Hotel requirements: Centralized property(s) capable of accommodating several meetings and an opening event for at least 200 people.

Room block: 100

Rate: $90-$115

Rights Fee: $3,000
