Up for Bid: 2020-2021 NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Invitational

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is currently seeking proposals to host its Women’s Wrestling National Invitational in 2020 and 2021. The event (Monday through Friday) draws about 240-300 athletes, plus about 1,000 fans and staff, for two full days of wrestling.

Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: June 1, 2019

Time of year: Mid-March 2020 and 2021

Venue requirements: Can hold a minimum of six mats simultaneously, will have multiple dressing rooms, a weigh-in room and a minimum seating capacity of 2,000.

Estimated number of participants: 240-300

Hotel requirements: Centralized property capable of accommodating several meetings and a banquet for 400-500 people.

Room block: 200-250

Rate: $90-$115

Rights Fee: N/A
