Up for Bid: 2020 USA Fencing Elite Championships and North American Cup

USA Fencing is currently seeking proposals to host its 2020 Elite Championships and North American Cup. The 4-day (Friday through Monday) competition will attract more than 2,600 athletes, as well as 1,000 spectators.

Here are the details:

Deadline to bid: Nov. 1, 2018

Time of year: April 15-20, 2020

Venue requirements: 225,000 continuous square feet; Minimum ceiling height of 16 feet; 12 competition areas and 1 finals area

Estimated number of participants: 2,600-2,800

Hotel requirements: Walking distance to venue.

Room nights: Attendee: 1,695; Staff: 517

Rate: $109-$129
