Up for Bid: 2021 U.S. Figure Skating Championships

U.S. Figure Skating is currently seeking proposals to host the 2021 U.S. Figure Skating Championships. The events draws more than 490 athletes, coaches and officials from across the country, plus thousands of family members and fans. Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: Feb. 15, 2019

Dates: Jan. 11-17, 2021

Venue Requirements: One main competition arena (85′ x 200′ or 100′ x 200′ ice surface) with seating for at least 8,000; an additional ice surface for practice sessions with seating for 300.

Estimated Number of Attendees: 190 athletes, 200 coaches and 100 officials

Hotel Requirements: Hotel cluster in close proximity to the competition arena

Hotel Rate: $119 or less

Room Nights: 5,000 (850-1,000 on peak nights)

Minimum Bid Fee: $750,000
