Up for Bid: NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) is currently seeking proposals to host its Women’s Golf National Championships in 2021 and 2022, as well as 2023 and 2024 The five-day event (Monday through Friday) draws about 200 players and fans.

Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: June 1, 2019

Time of year: May 25-28, 2021 and May 24-27, 2022; May 23-26, 2023 and May 21-24, 2024

Venue requirements: A well-kept course that can withstand one practice round and four days of competition.Preferably is a Par 72 and 5,800 yards minimum.

Estimated number of participants: Maximum of 144 golfers (180-200 players and fans will attend)

Hotel requirements: One headquarters hotel within 15 minutes of the golf course that has comfortable rooms, meeting rooms and a banquet hall for a dinner for approximately 300 people. Overflow, alternate housing (1-2 hotels) for fans is also requested.

Room block: 120 minimum

Rate: $90-$115

Rights Fee: $5,000
