Up for Bid: 2019 USA Weightlifting National Championships

USA Weightlifting is currently seeking bids to host its 2019 National Championships  in May. The event is NGB’s most prestigious, and typically draws about 400 athletes.

Here are the details:

Deadline to bid: Open

Preferred dates: May 16-19, 2019 is preferred; also accepting bids for May 9-12.

Venue requirements: 20,000 square feet of flexible competition space; 7,000 square feet for training space; seating for 600 spectators;Complimentary minimal 15MB wired upload internet speed,

Estimated number of participants: 500

Hotel requirements: Near airport; walking distance to venue

Room nights: 850

Rate: $119 or less

Rights fee: $5,000 or greater
