Up for Bid: 2020 U.S. Figure Skating Regional and Sectional Championships

U.S. Figure Skating is currently seeking proposals to host its 12 regional and sectional championships in 2020. Bids must be submitted by a figure skating club board member. Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: May 1, 2018

Required Dates: 

Regionals: Oct. 2-Oct. 6; Oct. 16-20; Oct. 23-27

Sectionals: Nov. 12-16; Nov. 19-23

Venue Requirements: Ice surfaces must be 85′ x 100′ or 100 x 200′; One competition surface and two practice surfaces

Estimated Number of Athletes: 100-400 for regionals; 165-200 for sectionals

Hotel Requirements: Near venue; at least 2 meeting rooms

Hotel Rate: $119 or less

Room Nights: 300-1,100 (varies by region)
