The RFP process is open for the 2024 USA Gymnastics U.S. Olympic Team Trials, USA Gymnastics Championships, and USA Gymnastics National Congress & Trade Show. Here are the details:

Deadline to Bid: Through August 2022

Time of Year: June 23-July 1, 2024  

Venue:

Trials:

• Competition Floor Area: 85 ft. wide x 200 ft. long with a minimum 40’ ceiling height.
• Additional Floor Space: 2500 sq.ft. on one side and end for production and media
• Spectator seating: 15,000 minimum (18,000+ Preferred)
• LED video and ribbon boards and control room
• Hospitality Area for up to 200 guests
• Auxiliary Rooms: Adequate space for locker rooms, judges’ meetings, production office, and catering.
• Television Parking Area: Space for production trucks, generator, uplink, and office trailers.
• Location for a Fan Fest pre and or post event for up to 2000 fans

Championships

The ideal site will have 3 competition venues in convention or event space, with an attached Arena and hotels within walking distance. 

Arena: Elite Competition (Acro, Rhythmic, and T&T Elite competition)

• Minimum seating of 6,000
• 100’ X 220’ clear floor space
• 45’ clear height minimum
• 4 meeting rooms
• 2 Athlete only Locker rooms or bathrooms
• 10,000 square foot warm up area adjacent to competition space (30’ clear height); if the arena is attached to the Development Program competition venues, this space can serve as the warm-up area)

National Congress & Tradeshow

• Rooms of varying size accommodating from 100-500 theater style with A/V
• Minimum of 100,000 square feet of exhibition space
• Ballroom for Hall of Fame Luncheon (600)

Participants: Approximately 1,600 athletes and an additional 600 coaches, judges, and staff. Congress will have 2,000 gymnastics professionals.

Room Nights: 11,345, with peak of 2,015 rooms (1,500 doubles)
