The National Senior Games Association’s premier event is the National Senior Games, a multi-sport, biennial competition for men and women over the age of 50. It is the largest multi-sport championship event in the world for seniors. The competition lasts 13 days. Here are the details.

Preferred Months: June, July, and August. Secondary months are May and September.

Intent to Bid Deadline: April 29, 2022

Bid Deadline: July 22, 2022

Attendees: Nearly 14,000 participants

Economic Impact: Up to $34 million

Venue Requirements: Multiple venues for National Event with 21 sports: Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Cornhole, Cycling, Golf, Pickleball, Power Walk, Race Walk, Racquetball, Road Race, Shuffleboard, Soccer, Softball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track & Field, Triathlon, and Volleyball

Proposal Fee: $5,000 ($4,000 refundable if not selected as host)
