Up for Bid: 2024-27 U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships

USA Taekwondo is currently seeking proposals for 2024-2027 to host the U.S. Open Taekwondo Championships. The five-day event features athletes ages 6-70 from across the world. Here are the details:

2024 Dates: Jan. 24-28, 2024

Deadline to Bid: Rolling

Venue requirements: Arena or convention center with 80,000-90,000 square feet of contiguous floor space with fixed seating to fit approximately 12 45’x45’ competition rings and a minimum of 10’ walkway in between each competition ring and outside seating.

Estimated number of attendees: 3,000 (participants range from 6 years old to 70)

Hotel Requirements: Group Housing will contract with all hotels. Should be a range of costs for properties, which should be within close proximity of the competition venue.

Room Nights: 2,500+

Economic Impact: $1.2 million+
