The sports tourism industry has withstood many storms, but none as challenging as the pandemic. Yet due to the resourcefulness and dedication of elite individuals, many of the games have still gone on. Now as we are on the cusp of a comeback for the ages, Connect Sports is looking to honor the superstars who have kept the industry afloat and are leading the push for tournaments and other events to fill calendars, allowing athletes a much-needed chance to shine and helping to employ thousands of hospitality workers.
