Up for Bid: 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship

The International Ice Hockey Federation has awarded USA Hockey the 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship. Destinations interested in hosting the women's elite hockey event are invited to submit their bids. Plymouth, Mich., was the most recent U.S. host in 2017. The 10-team tournament will occur over two weeks in early Spring 2024. Here are the details.

Deadline to Bid: Jan. 20, 2023

Time of Year: Between March 22-April 16, 2024

Athletes: 300

Room Nights: 3,920

Facility Requirements: The main arena should have a minimum seating capacity of 2500, while the secondary arena should have a minimum seating capacity of 500.
