U.S. Quidditch Cup
U.S. Quidditch is currently seeking bids to host its 2018 U.S. Quidditch Cup and regional events. The two-day Quidditch Cup is held in April and expected to draw 60 of the country's elite teams. The U.S. Quidditch regional events are two-day competitions held October through March and draw between 15 and 30 teams. Here are the details for both:

U.S. Quidditch Cup

Deadline to bid: April 17 Preferred dates: April Venue requirements: Room for 10 rectangular fields measuring 72 x 48 yards; indoor venue for central headquarters; seating for 5,000 spectators Estimated number of attendees: Athletes: 1,200; Spectators: 4,000-6,000 Hotel requirements: Near venue Room Nights: 1,000 Rate: $79 - $129 Rights fee: $30,000 For the complete RFP, click here.

U.S. Quidditch Regional Events

Deadline to bid: April 17
Preferred dates: October-March Venue requirements: Room for 3 to 4 rectangular fields measuring 72 x 48 yards; indoor venue for central headquarters Estimated number of attendees: Athletes: 200-350; Spectators: 200-500 Hotel requirements: Near venue Room Nights: 100-300 Rate: $79-$129 Rights fee: $5,000 (or acceptable in-kind trade)
