USA BMX is currently seeking bids to host events during its 2018 season, running from January through late November. Events typically draw 800 to 2,000 athletes and up to 15,000 fans over the course of a weekend. Approximately one-third of the events will have "Olympic qualifier" status. In 2017, USA BMX will host 43 national races, a model expected to be followed in 2018.
