
USA Field Hockey is currently seeking proposals to host its 2019 and 2020 National Hockey Festival. U-12, U-14, U-16, U-19 and adult athletes from across the country willhave a national platform to develop showcase their talents and passion for the game in front of a large audience of DIII, DII, DI college programs, fans and families at the event, held annually on or near Thanksgiving weekend. Outside of the scheduled competition, the event will include several different ancillary events that will provide platforms for further development of athletes, club coaches, college coaches and umpires.

Deadline to Bid: June 1, 2018
Time of Year: Nov. 27 – Dec. 1, 2019 or Dec. 5–8, 2019; Nov. 25-29, 2020 or Dec. 3-7, 2020
Venue Requirements: 21-24 grass or turf field hockey fields (300' x 180') for a venue without lights; Lighted facilities could support the event with 13 full fields and 6 half-fields (half-fields don't need lights); space for village featuring at least 20 vendors and a large concession area with space to fit public seating.
Number of participants: 3,000 athletes; 450 coaches; 4,500 spectators, fans and families
Hotel requirements: Centrally located near airport and venue
Room nights: 10,000
Rate: $150 or less preferred
